Licensed as a Reader in September 2005 after two years of training, I am the least experienced of the Ministry Team. I'm glad to be able to assist with church services, to play my part as a housegroup joint leader, to lead a handchime team of very enthusiastic and gifted ringers who add to the music in worship from time to time, and to visit church members and friends in their homes. People are very kind and most welcoming.

I was born in Yorkshire and lived there until I was in my early thirties. Together with my husband and two sons we settled happily in Crawley Down in 1979. The boys are now adults of course, married, and I'm delighted to be Jamie's Grannie.

I am a teacher by profession and worked most recently in the Special Needs Department at Hazelwick School, Crawley. I so enjoyed being alongside the young people and sharing in their progress through the school.
