Regular Groups

Open Door — This group is open to anyone, who perhaps through bereavement, divorce, loneliness, or for whatever reason would welcome the opportunity to meet once a month with a friendly group of people for different social events. For more details please click on the Diary Tab or contact Jenny Bull or Brian Moore, (see Other Contacts).

Chimes — Are you interested in learning to play an instrument? Well, our Chimes (like hand bells) Group would love to hear from you. We practice on most Saturdays and perform at various events and church services throughout the year. For more details please contact Amanda Bellisio (see Other Contacts).

Mothers’ Union — Mothers' Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. Members share one heartfelt vision - to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships. By supporting marriage and family life, especially through times of adversity, they tackle the most urgent needs challenging relationships and communities. Members are not all mothers, or even women. Single, married, parents, grandparents or young adults just beginning to express their social conscience. The Crawley Down, Turners Hill and Copthorne Branch meets once a month. See the Diary, or contact Mrs Chris Sumpter, 01342 713894, for further details.

Monday Club — This club, set up with the help of church and village volunteers provides lunch and entertainment for anyone in the village who has reached that milestone in life "60". We meet in the Village Hall, each Monday, where we enjoy a time of chat over a cup of tea or coffee, followed by lunch and then some sort of entertainment. For details, or if you need transportation, or if you would like to volunteer to help in any way, contact Babs Burkill on 01342 712149.
