The Choir

All Saints' Church Choir is affiliated to the Royal Schools of Church Music. We are a very active and enthusiastic group of people aged 7yrs-70+yrs who meet regularly in the church on Friday evenings during term time. We sing very varied music -from 'When I'm sixty four'-at a recent wedding, to anthems by some of the most revered composers, to the regular hymns and more modern songs, and responses used to lead the worship during services

The children and adults wear coloured ribbons, which they achieve by working to certain standards to continually improve their own singing and musical skills. Certain ribbons can be obtained without an external examiner. Other medals, i.e. the Deans and Bishops Awards and the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards are externally examined.

The choir regularly sing at weddings and the children, in line with their ability, receive pocket money for attending rehearsals, services and weddings. We attend the annual festival at Chichester and sing with other choirs in the cathedral.

All the adults are CRB checked and there is always a minimum of two adults present so you can leave your children in the knowledge that they will be safe. You are of course equally welcome to stay.
